Fondation Opale invites you to discover Tai Chi in its traditional form during a free session open to everyone, led by Chany Jeanguenin.

An internal martial art, Tai Chi is a gentle but comprehensive practice: it promotes inner tranquillity, helps reduce stress, improves balance and coordination, while gently strengthening muscles and joints. It also incorporates principles of self-defence, accessible to all ages.

Chany Jeanguenin is a martial arts teacher specialising in Kung Fu and Tai Chi. A former international professional skateboarder, he holds a 2nd dan black belt and is a multiple Swiss Wushu champion. He taught Tai Chi and Kung Fu in the United States before continuing his teaching career in Switzerland, where he passes on a practice that is rigorous, accessible and rooted in tradition.
