Embark on a unique musical journey to the sounds of dub and calypso with the Suns Of Dub label and collective, from the islands of Trinidad & Tobago. Led by Ras Jammy, this group has been bringing together musicians, singers and DJs since 2010. Joined by the talented singer and musician Jah Bami, Ras Jammy also has a few surprises in store with special guests during this stopover in Lens.

The program kicks off at 4 pm, with a special moment alongside the artists in an intimate setting. After an introduction to the traditional music of Trinidad & Tobago, enjoy a demonstration of the emblematic Steel Pan instrument, and learn about the island’s traditional music in a discovery workshop.

From 5 pm on, the atmosphere will heat up with a concert in our foyer area, where you can enjoy a drink and move to the sound of the Steel Pan and DJ sets.

Don’t forget to book your table at the restaurant if you’d like to share a meal at L’Opale!
Don’t forget to visit our exhibition HIGH FIVE! before the art center closes (6 p.m.).
