Art workshop for kids from 5 years old on photography, environmental issues and an introduction to Australian Indigenous culture.
Main goal of photography-based workshops
Educational objectives include aquiring key elements of the language of photography and implementing them in the framework of cyanotype and photograms, one of the oldest photographic process.
Main goal of environment workshops
Accompanying kids in understanding the approach chosen by the photographer who gives an artistic meaning to the image, going beyond appearances by using visual processes (colours, framing, lines, etc.)
Raise awareness of the polysemy of images depending on the viewer: the artist’s point of view but also that of the environmentalist.
Introduction to Australian Indigenous culture
Discover traditional culture and contemporary artistic practices of Aboriginal people through the work of photographer Robert Fielding. We propose an immersion in the Aboriginal graphic universe by revealing its meanings and discover step by step the mythology of the Dream Time.
