Guillaume Geny (guitar) and Sarah Velasco (violin), for Les Variations Musicales, offer a concert designed for toddlers from birth and their parents. For 30 minutes, accompanied by your mat or yoga mat, you’ll be able to change your baby, feed him or her, hold him or her in your arms, and walk around if you need.

Les Variations Musicales is a project founded in 2022 in Neuchâtel by Margo Lathuraz, who imagined an ensemble that could respond to a variety of requests, as well as initiate its own concerts, with pleasure and sharing as the common thread. There is no fixed ensemble, just reunions based on projects and desires, bringing together musicians from all walks of life.

Guillaume Geny, passionate about sound research on the guitar, studied classical guitar at the Conservatoire de Manosque before obtaining two Masters degrees at theHEMU – Haute École de Musique. Winner of several international competitions, he performs regularly in solo concerts and is currently employed at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and the EMVR – école de musique vaudoise en réseau.

Sarah Velasco is a Canadian violinist who usually performs as a soloist. She has completed two Masters degrees, including one at the HEMU, and was a member of the Lausanne Soloists ensemble with Renaud Capuçon for three years. She has taken part in numerous festivals and musical summits in many European countries, as well as in Canada and the United States.
