LITERARY CONVERSATION

For this 4th event in collaboration with Art Métro Sierre, Fondation Opale will welcome Florent Morisod in conversation with Isabelle Bagnoud Loretan, journalist and current Executive Director of Crans-Montana Classics.

Florent Morisod is a young writer from Valais. Prose, poetry, slam—he explores the many forms that writing can take. He collaborates with various artists on projects blending poetry with painting, or words with music. As a slam poet, performing under the name florilège, he presents his texts at open mics and tournaments, and also leads slam workshops. As a member of the SEV, he takes part in readings and performances with its Young Writers’ section (SEVJ), while practicing writing alongside his work as a lawyer.

In November 2024, he published « Ces pas dans la nuit du matin », a poetry collection with Éditions des Fleurs. His first novel, « À l’ombre des néons », was published in February 2025 by Éditions de l’Hèbe. He is also the winner of the First Novel Prize organised by Éditions de l’Hèbe.
