MAORI OPERA: TE HONONGA – THE CONNECTION
07.02.2026In this evening of cultural sharing, two Maori opera singers, soprano Natasha Te Rupe Wilson and bass Morgan-Andrew King perform a series of Maori waiata (musical artworks) ranging from traditional to modern folk songs, chants and dance.
Journey through the roots of Maori culture, with both singers showcasing their spiritual and genealogical connection to their tribes and ties to nature through musical artworks.
