Adventurer at heart, Franck Malleus shares his latest trip in his film Merci Soleil, awarded at the Coupe Icare 2023.

After exploring Mongolia, Lapland and various Alpine peaks, he set himself a new challenge: crossing the Alps completely self-sufficiently with his solar-powered bike, while practicing base jumping. Where solar energy becomes a symbol of freedom, this film is an invitation to escape, revealing his 31 nights spent in a tent and his 17 vertiginous jumps, all over 1,700 km by bike.

Between passion, sport exploits and memorable encounters, Merci Soleil, entirely shot by Franck, offers a unique perspective on travel and adventure.

52 minutes, in French, English subtitles
Screening followed by a discussion with Franck Malleus and a complimentary drink.
