For over 40 years, Georges-Emmanuel Poletti has been a musician, producer, and composer of electronic music. Inspired by the human inclination toward contemplation, he has created a unique piece designed to guide listeners into a meditative state. “Mendh or the Art of Attention”, a unique and original project, follows in the footsteps of the great ambient and atmospheric music compositions of the 1970s, as well as the soundtracks of orchestral film music.

With his project “Mood Ticket”, DJ St. Paul invites the audience into a fully immersive sound experience—an electronic, meditative drift through contemplative soundscapes. This is a live performance, improvised and shaped in real-time, in response to the venue and the audience.

The project’s title reflects the universal human capacity for spirituality, including everyone, regardless of religion or belief. The word “Mendh”, from an ancient Indo-European root, means “to pay attention,” and is found in the etymology of words related to mind and wisdom in several European languages.

The audience is invited to sit in deckchairs in the exhibition rooms, to close their eyes or quietly take in the surrounding environment, while being carried by deep, melodic soundscapes.
