Larry and Vernon Gurruwiwi are internationally renowned custodians of the Yidaki as handed down to them by the late great D* Gurruwiwi.
Continuing his legacy, they are travelling from their remote community in North East Arnhem Land, Australia, to the lofty heights of Fondation Opale in the Swiss Alps.

Sharing Yolngu wisdom about the origins of the Yidaki and their sacred songlines, the men will teach workshop participants how to play the instrument with integrity in an authentic Yolngu cultural context.

Larry and Vernon are accompanied by filmmaker Ben Strunin who will share important footage of Larry and Vernons story so the audience can understand where this crucial Indigenous story eminates from.
Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to learn from the true masters of the Didjeridoo.

All levels are welcome, each participant must bring their own didjeridoo.
