VALAIS: A FAMILY ALBUM – YANN ARTHUS-BERTRAND

From his beginnings as a wildlife photographer in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the founding of the GoodPlanet Foundation, Yann Arthus-Bertrand shares the captivating story of his journey. At the heart of this story lies his deep commitment to humanity and biodiversity — a passion that guides each of his actions and initiatives. One of his most iconic projects was a portrait of the French people, inviting them to pose in their work or everyday clothes, alongside those they love.

The Biennale Crans-Montana has invited him to create a similar project on Valais, which will be the subject of an exhibition in 2027.
