From faces to landscapes… from costumes to customs, “Lötschental 1916-1971” traces the peaceful life of this Upper Valais valley at a time when the mountain had not yet collapsed onto the village of Blatten.
This film, drawn from the archives of the Médiathèque Valais Martigny, will be accompanied live in a film-concert by pianist Christine Chauve and clarinettist Léonard Müller, performing an original composition by Christine Chauve.
Produced by the Orgues, Musiques et Cimes Association with the aim of promoting Valais’s audiovisual heritage through music.
